Who We Are
We are Rebellion Press, the publisher of The Novel Writer's Prompt Toolkit at noveltoolkit.rebellion.press. Our contact email is hello@rebellion.press.
What Information We Collect
We collect only what's necessary to process your order and deliver your prompts:
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe may collect your name, email address, and billing details to process your payment.
- Email address — provided during Stripe checkout, used to deliver your purchased prompts and your order confirmation.
- Story details you enter in the wizard — used solely to generate your personalized AI prompts. We do not store these after your prompts are delivered.
How We Use Your Information
- To process your payment securely via Stripe
- To generate your personalized AI prompts
- To email you your purchased prompts and order confirmation
- To send you occasional updates about new prompt topics we release (you can opt out at any time)
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your personal information to any third party
- We do not share your data with advertisers
- We do not store your payment card details — ever
- We do not store the story details you enter in the wizard after your session ends
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate this product:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy
- Cloudflare — hosting and infrastructure. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Anthropic — AI prompt generation. Your story details are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your prompts. Anthropic's privacy policy is at anthropic.com/privacy
- Zeptomail — transactional email delivery
Data Retention
Your email address is retained for as long as you remain a customer or until you request deletion. Order records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting regulations. Story details entered in the wizard are not retained after your prompts are generated.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make any such request, email us at hello@rebellion.press and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This site uses only essential session storage (not cookies) to preserve your wizard answers during checkout. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels on this page.
Children's Privacy
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
